Autumn Thinking
Themes I’m exploring this season:
Autumn itself; the beautiful, bountiful decay of transitions - my friend Alastair & I are hosting nature resets down at Knepp to witness the Autumn in all its glory; we also recognised the leadership transition blooming at Library of Things with a residential for the new constellation of leaders
Listening - for what others would find of value from me: opening up office hours & having all slots booked out after a day, talking through everything from regenerative pricing models to governance structures. Shall I keep doing it?
Language - replacing mechanical or military language with nature-inspired words, from quarters to seasons, from targets to way-markers; greatly inspired by talking with Jane Ní Dhulchaointigh, one of our mission guardians at Library of Things, giving a voice to Earth in our governance
The nature of scaling - working with Fixing Factory on a blueprint to build on their great work bringing repair to high streets
Preparing for Winter - what would I like to reconnect with during the upcoming quieter season?
